Invited to Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Kimsooja installed the sculpture “A Needle Woman – Galaxy was a Memory, Earth is a Souvenir” in the park and invested the chapel of the estate with a mirror device combined with diffracting films on the openings. Exhibition curator Clare Lilley and artist Kimsooja discuss the context and challenges of these works.
Invité au Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Kimsooja a installé la sculpture « A Needle Woman – Galaxy was a Memory, Earth is a Souvenir » dans le parc et a investi la chapelle du domaine avec un dispositif de miroir combiné avec des films diffractants sur les ouvertures. La commissaire d’exposition Clare Lilley et l’artiste Kimsooja évoquent le contexte et les enjeux de ces œuvres.
