This film presents the installation of the work entitled “Displacement” by Tadashi Kawamata in Toulon. As part of the “blue passion” season of the scène nationale Châteauvallon-Liberté, the Japanese artist is offering a temporary installation made with shipwrecks recovered from the harbor of the port of Toulon. Charles Berling gives us the challenges of this artistic commission installed in the public space and Tadashi Kawamata tells us about his project and his motivations.
