This film presents the installation by Daniel Buren at the Picasso Museum in Paris entitled “La Coupure”. Through his intervention, the artist questions the symmetry of the architecture of the Hôtel Salé as well as the interior spaces before the museum closes for its upcoming restructuring. An interview between the artist and the director of the museum, Anne Baldassari, sheds light on the challenges of this intervention and the links between Daniel Buren and Pablo Picasso.
