The artist Daniel Buren and the architect Philippe Chiambaretta discuss the work Les Nuages Colorés, Travail in situ. The work dialogues with the scales of the glass roof built on the roof of the Lazard Frères headquarters in Paris. It combines the color and transparency of the structure with the sky as a background creating a polychrome explosion which evolves according to the times and the seasons. Daniel Buren discusses his attraction to transparency and his multiple collaborations as well as his in situ works where art and architecture meet. Philippe Chiambaretta discusses the context of this project, provides insight into his architectural proposal and reacts to the dialogue established between artist and architect.
